PARVIS is a range of IP65-rated barriers designed to integrate with lighting systems, combining functionality and aesthetics to provide a high-security device with an unobtrusive design. PARVIS WS SMA is a low-power wireless barrier powered by a high-capacity, long-life lithium battery. It consists of a single column housing double-optic AND beams using SMA technology, with 2 + 2 or up to 3 + 3 TX and RX beams. These are automatically recognized by the new, high-performance control boards, which offer low power consumption. Depending on the number of beams in the columns, the batteries provide an average operating life of 36 months. A low-battery warning is provided acoustically when the beams are interrupted. It supports SMA technology and uses optical synchronization: the transmitting column emits a coded sequence of infrared beams, which are detected by all the receivers in the receiving column, creating an impenetrable grid. PARVIS WS SMA keeps the protection active while allowing people or animals within the protected area to move freely. It also allows each sensor in the barrier to be individually calibrated and configured according to the environmental conditions. Functions are programmed via DIP switches, including OR/AND logic, crossing speed and fog disqualification. Alarm and tamper signals are provided by two separate outputs for connection to the most common radio transmitters on the market and interfacing with intrusion alarm control panels.
