The CROMO underground gear motor is designed to automate new or existing swing gates.
Thanks to its easy installation, using the gear motor requires no changes to the gate's appearance or operation, making it particularly popular for automating historic gates.
The gear motor consists of a single aluminium block containing the reduction gear assembly and electric motor. Both operate continuously in an oil bath and are housed in a watertight IP67-rated steel casing.
The gear motor is suitable for operating gates with a maximum weight of 500 kg and a leaf length of 2.50 m (when installed with an electric lock).
The CROMO gear motor is supplied in the locking (NON-REVERSIBLE) version.
