How RFID works
RFID stands for radio frequency identification, which uses contactless radio transmission.
RFID tags are microchips with a receiving and transmitting antenna. Their 14-digit code can be transmitted without a battery.
Each transponder contains a unique, unchangeable code that is burned in during production. The code is stored in the reader's database (or in multiple systems).
