New range featuring a new technology called FDS (FAAC Digital Signature).
Thanks to the dual frequency, there is no longer any need to select the operating frequency in advance, making installation and maintenance easier for installers.
Programming procedures have been simplified, making it easier to add FDS transmitters both via Self-Learning and by programming them directly on the receiver.
The FDS range is compatible with all FAAC electronic equipment, depending on the receiver used:
• XF FDS 433-868 MHz - electronic equipment with 3-pin Radio connector:
hardware compatibility is indicated by the words RADIO +" on the board."

Firmware compatibility requires updating to a version compatible with FDS
XF FDS 433-868 is available for setting up new systems with FDS transmitters.
With XF FDS, SLH-RC-DS transmitters cannot be programmed; XF 433 or XF 868 models are available.
• RP/RP2 FDS 433-868 MHz - Electronic equipment with 5-pin Radio connector:
No hardware or firmware update is required to use RP.

• XR2N/XR4N FDS 433-868 MHz external receiver:
The XR2N/XR4N FDS 433-868 receivers are universal receivers compatible with all radio codes (SLH-RC-DS-FDS) and with any FAAC or third-party control board.
The FDS range is compatible with Simply Connect only with FAAC electronic equipment featuring an integrated 3-pin radio receiver (Radio +), a Simply Connect connector and updated firmware.
For all other electronic equipment, the FDS + Simply Connect range can only be integrated via XMulticom.
