The V09 electric lock is the only highly reliable lock specifically designed for installation on outdoor sliding gates, whether manual or automated.
Its special rotating hook bolt mechanism accommodates expansion (caused by changes in weather conditions) of sliding gates of up to ± 9.6 mm (equivalent to a temperature range of 100° C for an 8-metre-long gate). It can also be installed on manual sliding gates (with a double-sided cylinder).
Unlike locking systems using padlocks and chains or standard mechanical hook locks, the V09 offers new and effective security measures, is practical to use and aesthetically pleasing, cannot be tampered with from the outside and is resistant to corrosion caused by weather conditions.
Thanks to its dedicated installation kit, the V09 electric lock is also ideal for sectional garage doors and motorised roller shutters.
Installation: horizontally on the fixed post of the sliding gate; or vertically, with accessories, on the inside of sectional doors and motorised roller shutters.
Backset: 50 mm.
Opening pulse duration: controlled by an electronic control board, with the option of interfacing with automation systems.
Voltage: 12 or 24V AC or DC (24V recommended).
Housing: one-piece galvanised steel, with cable entry at the rear (for maximum protection) or on the side (by opening the knockout hole).
Cover: galvanised steel, with automatic safety locking when the lock is closed.
Rotating hook bolt: impact-resistant, fitted in steel guides, protected by hardened steel anti-cut rotating rings, and operated by stainless steel springs. The guides and rotating rings have a corrosion-resistant electroless nickel coating using the "NIPLOY PROCESS".
Cylinder: version designed for a 40 mm (30+10) half profile cylinder with DIN or universal cam (item 1.772.9 supplied).
Mechanism (of the supplied half cylinder): brass pins; "mushroom" brass drivers to resist picking; phosphor bronze pin springs.
Strike plate: galvanised steel, easy to fit using the practical alignment template supplied with the lock.
Supplied with: strike plate for horizontal installation (item 7905.217), rain cover including galvanised steel strike plate, electronic control board with the option of interfacing with automation systems, Torx key for opening and closing the cover, galvanised steel cylinder holder, nylon ring and cap, fixing screws.
