Z-Wave relay controller designed to remotely open and close pool covers, gas/water valves, irrigation systems, etc. Since the PRL-8ZW is connected directly to the power cables, it includes a strain-relief clamp to secure the wires and protect them from metal cutting. With the PRL-8ZW, users can manage installations inside and outside the home anytime, anywhere.
The PRL-8ZW enables wireless operation of any device that can be controlled by a single-pole double-throw (SPDT) relay. When integrated with home security and automation systems, users can easily program custom schedules/scenes or timer settings to save energy and enhance security. The PRL-8ZW has a dry contact and operates on an AC power supply.
Featuring an integrated antenna to improve wireless performance, the relay controller can also function as a Z-Wave repeater and supports OTA firmware updates. The PRL-8ZW simplifies wiring and is ideal for expanding automation options in new or renovated homes where wiring solutions are limited.
