SS-A54 16-bit multiprocessor addressable fire alarm control panel. Features a backlit polycarbonate keypad and a 4-line, 40-character display. Programmable from the keypad or a PC, and remotely manageable. Can house 4 SS-MR1 line modules (one of which is built in), each supporting 128 addressable sensors; with 4 optional modules, it supports up to 512 sensors. Stores 1,000 events. Each addressable sensor or peripheral device has 10 DIP switches for setting and changing its unique code, allowing the control panel to identify each individual device or sensor. Supports 32 SS-C54 mimic panels for event repetition. Mains failure, fault and exclusion monitoring; six relay outputs for controlling different alarms, bells and sirens, telephone calls, solenoid valves, automatic extinguishing systems and fire doors. Complies with EN 54 standards. Wall-mounted installation. Power supply: 220 V, 50 Hz; 24 V, 2.5 A standby battery charger. Can house 2 batteries, 12 volts and up to 15 Ah. This control panel can replace the AREA54-1/2/3/4 control panel without replacing existing, operational peripheral devices or smoke detectors; therefore, the system does not need to be replaced, provided it complies with current fire safety standards. The layout of the peripheral devices must be known so that the control panel can acquire all their addresses.
