The transmitters, powered by a 3V lithium battery (1 x CR2032) with a range of 100 to
150 meters, are pre-coded at the factory with a unique identification number reported
on the back so as to allow block storage on the receiver and can
be enabled from a remote location with the help of another transmitter already
stored in the system. They have a key lock function that protects them from
involuntary random activations and have an auto-shutdown mechanism afterwards
at least 20 seconds of continuous activation (to limit battery consumption).
